In this blog I am going to show you 5 organisational hacks and DIY's. This includes:
- A clutter box
- Cupboard organiser
- Wardrobe Hacks
- Cable organiser
- A DIY whiteboard.
These hacks and DIY's are so simple and they are really easy to make.
Lets get started!!
We are going to start with the Clutter box. A clutter box is where you can store stuff throughout the day or week. You just put things in the way or things that don't have a place to put them in the box. I chose a day to organise mine so it doesn't overflow.
- All you need is a box!!
This is the box I decided to use. It can be any size you need it depends how often you are going to use it.
And then throughout the week you can just dump stuff you need to sort out in there and this is what it turns out like.
Cupboard OrganiserThis hack is just something I find really useful to help me know where to find things when you need them. You can organise anything you want using this hack it doesn't have to be a cupboard.
- Name labels
All you need to do is cut the name labels to size and write what you are storing on it. Then stick it on the shelf.
I used this hack to split my work, activities and notebooks within my cupboard because it was all just in there and I didnt known where to look for things.
Wardrobe Hack! This hack is useful if you are trying to sort your wardrobe out and you don't know what to get rid of. To do this hack you simply don't need anything.
For this hack all you need to do is turn all your hangers around. Then when you wear something turn it back round to the way it was facing before. Eventually, you will realise what clothes you're wearing and what clothes your not and you won't be wearing the same clothes everyday: you know what you've worn and what you haven't.
Cable OrganiserIn this DIY, you make a tube to store you're cables and prevent them from being tangled.
- A cardboard tube
- Washi tape
- Decorations for around the edge (Optional)
First, get your cardboard tube and stick the washi tape around it covering it up completely. Secondly, if you have decorations stick or glue them on.
Wait for it to dry then you can fold your cable up and put it inside. I put my USB cable for my Ipad in in.
This DIY is probably my favourite of the lot because you can change the background whenever you want.
- A picture frame
- Picture for the background
- Whiteboard Rubber (Optional)
- Whiteboard pen
All you need to do is put a picture in the background of your picture frame then your done.
I used an inkview whiteboard marker.
